Joni, thank you again so much for your guidance and support. I wouldn't be where I am today without your help. I'm so glad I took that step to let you guide and coach me through my journey. There have been a lot of ups and downs, and times I wanted to quit, but I'm glad I stuck with it. I only hope to grow and get better each day. Thanks for everything you’ve done for me.
My 1-year transformation! What got me here? Lots of sacrifice, determination, consistency, resiliency, and coaching help from @jonilynortizifbb @jloprofit. I'm down 36 pounds and never going back. Were there days I wanted to throw in the towel and give up? Yes - lots of them. But I didn’t. I could upload a ton of pictures to compare my abs and ass, but that’s not necessary — you get the point. The old Miriam wasted money on material things, didn’t stay consistent, never followed through, binge ate, had Starbucks sugary drinks every other day, didn’t meal prep, yo-yo dieted, and knew nothing about nutrition.
The new Miriam cares about her health, nutrition, habits, and fitness goals. She’s invested in coaching, good foods, stays consistent (not perfect), and doesn’t give up. I'm not where I want to be yet, but I know I’ll keep going — even when things get hard. If there’s one thing you can never cheat, it’s fitness. You get exactly what you put in, and seeing the results of my hard work only motivates me to keep going.
I hope my transformation inspires and motivates others, because it has definitely been an amazing journey for me. If you're wondering when you should start caring and going after your fitness goals, the answer is now. Let me know if you want it shortened for social, stylized for a website, or turned into a quote graphic!

Words can't even begin to describe the gratitude and love I have for my coach, @jonilynortizifbb @jloprofit. When I began this journey a year ago, I was completely lost—physically, mentally, and spiritually. I had lost my confidence, passion, and ambition. I felt like I had failed at everything, and I couldn’t see a way out of the darkness.
I reached out to Joni, and the first thing she told me to do was forgive myself and reconnect with God. From there, everything began to change. She gave me direction, guidance, and helped reignite a fire in my soul. Slowly but surely, I began to feel stronger, more hopeful, and excited about my future again. Joni has celebrated every win with me, no matter how small, and lifted me up when I felt down. Most importantly, she believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself. She pushes me to become the best version of me every single day.
Thank you, Joni, for your commitment, dedication, and love. I truly love you. I can’t wait to see what the future holds!

I finished 4th in both the novice and open classes of my first ever NPC Men's physique show! so pumped, I had a great time last night and met a lot of cool people and made some new friends. This was such an awesome experience and I'm so happy I did it! I want to thank my family, friends and Team JLOPRO fitness for all of the support along this journey and I also want to thank my amazing coach Joni Lyn Ortiz for all of your guidance and knowledge. You are an amazing coach, competitor, and an even better friend! I'm so grateful for all of you and this mazing experience. I can't wait to do it again. (11-2016)

Consistency is QUEEN! Follow the plan, trust your coach and the process. My coach Joni Ortiz has been my rock throughout all of this. 400 workouts down and results speak for itself.

I completed a 28 day challenge, and I feel amazing. Lost 22 pounds and a total of 11.5".
I learned I have a sugar intolerance and this explains a lot. My lifestyle has changed permanently. I'm okay with this. I can run. My joints don't hurt, I'm thinking clearly and a lot of my anxiety has gone away. I entered the challenge knowing I needed to lose weight and this was to "jumpstart" my weight loss. Not realizing, I would gain my life back.
The last few years Drs have tested me for various possibilities coming back healthy. Little did I know it was sugar that is taking my quality of life.
It has been since 5/5 since I have had sugar and I'm not looking back. Look out world I'm coming!!
Photos on the left is 5/1
Photos on the right 5/28
Still have more to go and I'm going to do this with the help of my coach. Joni Lyn Ortiz
Folks, she is amazing, near to Tucson or far, she can help you reach your health, weight or sports goal, even knows the secret to build a booty. I can't say it enough she is beautiful inside and out.
I'm so stoked!! Also be careful what you ask for.

I have had a number of people comment on how they never knew I was heavy before. So below are a bunch of my before and afters to show the transformation over a number of years. Just know, this journey for anyone takes time. Just get started. I did not undertake the journey alone and am completely humbled and grateful to the women/coaches who have helped me get here.

I've been waiting for this day for a whole year. I remember taking the photo on the left and hating everything about it, I hated how thin my arms and legs looked and how undefined my entire body was. I honestly could not find it in me to say one positive thing about my appearance. It was then that I made a promise to myself that a year from then I would have something to look back at and be proud of--and I do!
Since April 4 I have done things I never imagined I would: I traveled to Spain and ran with the bulls in Pamplona, I started eating healthy and working out regularly, I competed in not one, but two NPC Bikini Competitions and after my second show I became a national qualified bikini competitor! Since starting my fitness journey it has ignited a passion i didn't realize was there. I am currently looking into nutrition schools and plan on becoming a certified Health and Wellness coach so I can begin helping others achieve their goals, whatever they may be. Everyone has to start somewhere and this is where I started. I am so proud of all the accomplishments I've made in the last year and I'm excited about the things I have to look forward to in year to come! Well my long road to my first ever bikini competition is over. I got first call outs in my Open Bikini Class D.
*Special thank you to my amazing coach @jonilynortizifbb/ @jloprofit

These 2 photos make me so happy! I can't believe I created & carried 2 beautiful little babies in that body! I still can't believe I have a 2yr old and a 1 yr old! Being a mommy of 2 little babies and working full time, I never thought I would be able to have my "pre baby" body back. But I do.... And it's even better than before! I had to stop giving myself excuses like "I don't have time," "I can't do it with two kids" & "oh well, I have kids now, this is what my body is supposed to look like." That just isn't me! I didn't want to let myself go simply for the fact that I had kids. I wanted to feel beautiful with and without clothes on. I wanted to feel strong and healthy.
I wanted to challenge myself. Most importantly, I wanted to be happy! My family and myself would benefit from this. I am so greatful that I met @jonilynortizifbb The first time I met her and trained, I cried! I couldn't believe she pushed me that hard AND I completed the work out! She literally transformed me during my prep, into a happy, healthier mama. I will forever be thankful for this experience she gave me. I placed 6th in my first competition! And every 4:30 am workout was worth it! Everything was worth this experience!Every mama deserves to be happy, healthy and to feel beautiful. Having babies is beautiful, but it doesn't have to be the end of you feeling beautiful!
I can't wait to DOMINATE the stage in November!! @jloprofit @jonilynortizIFBB
